V-Quest were delighted to be invited to the 46th Annual AUBEA conference in Auckland, New Zealand by Massey University.

AUBEA are one of oceania’s prominent non-profit association of the University and Institute of Technologies involved in teaching and research in the discipline of Building.

V-Quest co-founder Barry Lynch sat on a panel specifically to discuss Carbon legislation, measurement and construction. The panel included representatives from BRANZ, MBIE, NZGBC & Western Sydney University and Massey University. The panel discussion was lively and engaging and dealt in particular with the upcoming carbon legislation being released by the New Zealand Government, and the need for standardised measurement approaches.

The conference dealt with many wide and open presentations including:

  1. The use of drones and surveying technology
  2. Hemp based products
  3. Habitat relationship between heat, population and crime
  4. Low Carbon Construction
