V-Quest is pleased to announce that we have joined the New Zealand Construction Accord.

The Construction Sector Transformation Plan 2022-2025 (Transformation Plan 2022-2025) is a three-year action plan for change focused on tackling the sector’s systemic challenges whilst building resilience across the industry. V-Quest in joining the Construction Accord has agreed to be part of this endeavour to remove road blocks and barriers to a more effecient construction sector. Areas that will be specifically addressed are:

1. Fragmentation and minimal collaboration across the sector
2. Ageing workforce and scarcity of skilled labour
3. Poor health and safety performance, including mental health.
4. Low profitability and high-risk practices
5. Cyclical boom-bust performance
6. Poor procurement and risk management practices
7. Low productivity
8. High environmental impact
9. Supply chain disruption
